Recently, under the clear skies of Chhattisgarh, a gathering of dedicated individuals marked a significant chapter in the state's pursuit of sustainable living. IB Group, a leading player in integrated protein, initiated the 'Pahal, Prayas se Parinam' CSR project, signalling a collaborative effort to turn Chowki and Dongargaon into LiFE Blocks.

The event witnessed a remarkable assembly of influencers, including government representatives, environmental advocates, and local authorities. Among them were Shri S. Jayvardhan (IAS), Collector & District Magistrate Collector of District Mohla Manpur Ambargarh Chowki, Shri Amit Kumar (IAS), Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Rajnandgaon, Tanaz Aziz, Director HR, IB Group, and several others who gathered to shape the future of these two blocks.

In a spirit of collective responsibility, 300 enthusiastic youth volunteers joined hands to contribute to the 'Pahal' initiative. Their mission? Transforming Dongargaon and Chowki into environmentally friendly 'LiFE Blocks.' This venture wasn't just a corporate social responsibility but a community-led effort that echoed the principles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mission LiFE. Abhishek Singh, from UNICEF, emphasized how changes in individual behaviour can create a global impact, which resonated with the youth volunteers.

A united force for change emerged as Amit Kumar IAS outlined a vision for sustainable waste management, urging collaboration with partners IB Group, UNICEF, and Acwadam to combat water challenges and forge 'water warriors.' Dr Poulomi Banerjee, Head of IB Group's ESG department, expressed pride in 'Pahal,' a project connecting communities aligned with PM Modi's Mission LiFE.

 Ms. Shweta Patnaik of UNICEF praised collaborative efforts, showcasing the power of partnerships. Tanaz Aziz, IB Group Director, reiterated dedication to CSR, supporting pregnant women and aligning with sustainability missions. Finally, Mr. S. Jayvardhan (IAS) stressed the importance of prioritizing habits and becoming a driving force for a better environment. Together, they embody a potent force for positive impact and transformative change in Chhattisgarh.
